Thanksgiving cannot come soon enough
A movie that seems designed, from the trailer at least, with me as the target audience
One day to Trenzalore…

Saturday night…
To my mind, Nashville is the closest thing to a musical we currently have on tv—as Hammerstein said, song takes over when dialogue can’t carry things anymore. This song is from a few months back, but I just got the CD of the second half of the season and I am feeling nostalgic.
Several subplots here, but mostly a song sung by a woman going through a tabloid-fueled divorce, at a surprise birthday party for her recovering alcoholic guitarist, with whom she had the deepest relationship of her life over a decade earlier. Pretty much the Bluebird Cafe equivalent of Sondheim’s “woman in a red dress at the end of the bar” idea.
I believe we can never see this clip enough, especially as we approach Trenzalore
This…looks interesting
